Obituary

ARDO M. LANDE

Funeral services were held for Ardo M. Lande on Wednesday, July 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church. The Rev. Olaf Holen of Ames officiated at the services. Mrs. Jacob G. Lee was organist.

Ardo M. Lande was born July 14, 1918 in Ames, the son of Andrew and Sena Lande. he lived most of his life in Huxley and attended the Huxley school. He was a carpenter and worked for A. W. Tweedt Construction Company for 18 years before becoming ill.

On Aug. 7, 1939 he was married to Wilma E. Moore at Huxley and was a member of Fjeldberg Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife Wilma; three sons: Gary and Dick of Huxley, and Steve of Alleman; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
