Former Resident of Story City to Be Buried Monday

Special to the Journal:
Story City, April 22--Clint Johnson, 70, pioneer resident of Story City, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. J. M. Smith here Friday morning at 3:30 from Hodgkins disease and other complications.

The family had been living near Winnebago, Minn. for about 15 years but Mr. and Mrs. Johnson returned to Story City in February because of the serious condition of the husband's health and their home has since been with the daughter and family.

He is survived by his wife and eight children. The children are: Mrs. Otto Larson, Mrs. T. M. Mason and William P. Johnson of Winnebago, Minn.; Mrs. J. M. Smith and Mrs. Ben Lee of Story City; Mrs. Don Hammer of Ames, Mrs. Wilbur Buntz [should be Duntz] of Des Moines and Mrs. Ernest Bush of Glendale, Calif.

Funeral services will be on Monday, with prayer at the Smith home at 1:30 and the funeral at Grace Evangelical church at 2:00 with Rev. G. L. Bergeman in charge. Burial will be in Center cemetery southwest of Story City.
