Mrs. Mae Kopf dies; was Nevada native

Mrs. Mae Kopf, 66, of 917 11th St., a lifelong resident of Story County, died Wednesday at Story County hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.

Mrs. Kopf was born in Nevada Aug. 1, 1902, daughter of Ivan and Gertrude Ayers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle D. Kopf who died in September, 1966, her parents; two brothers and a son.

She leaves a son, Clyde E. Kopf of Nevada and a daughter, Mrs. Lowell (Betty) Robertson of Nevada, a brother, Harry Ayers of Long Beach, Calif., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Axel Smith officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Iowa Center.
