Mrs. Cody McGreer Died This Morning At Omaha, Neb.
Mrs. Cody McGreer of Omaha, Neb., former Mrs. Ida Leonard, passed away at 4:30 this morning after a year's illness. Death came upon her sixty-ninth birthday.
The body will arrive in Nevada Monday morning, the funeral services to be held Monday afternoon at 2 p. m. at the Morfoot Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
Mrs. McGreer is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Harry Mills of Nevada and Mrs. Nellie Lubbers of Omaha, Neb., her brother, Wm. Leonard of this city and her sister, Mrs. Frank Lang of Ames. One child, twin sister of Mrs. Mills, had died in infancy.

Last Rites for Mrs. Cody McGreer Held in Nevada
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Leonard McGreer, 69, Omaha, Neb., were held at the Morfoot Funeral Home in Nevada Monday afternoon with the the Reverend J. D. Ransom of Central Presbyterian church officiating at the last rites.
Mrs. Glover Ambrose was at the organ accompanying when Mrs. Lee Lowenberg sang "In the Garden" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."
The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
Casket bearers were R. L. Halloway, Herman Fink, Homer Dawson, Ben Fettrhoff, Karl Cessna and Frank Shearer.
The following brief life history was read by Rev. Ransom.
"Ida Mae Leonard McGreer was born in Nevada, Iowa, March 1, 1881 and passed away at her home in Omaha, Nebraska, on March 1, 1947. She was affiliated with the Presbyterian church early in life.
"She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Cody McGreer; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Mills of Nevada, and Mrs. Nellie Lubbers of Omaha; one sister, Mrs. Frank Lang of Ames; one brother, Will Leonard of Nevada, and many friends who knew her and remember her many kind deeds."
Relatives from a distance here for the funeral services were the husband, Cody McGreer and daughter Mrs. Nellie Lubbers of Omaha, Neb., Edith Bell of Denver, Mr. and Mrs. Boyter of Omaha and others from Minneapolis and Des Moines.
