Funeral Services Sunday Afternoon for Paul Bruce Thompson

Story City, Feb. 25 -- Funeral services were held in the Henderson funeral home in Story City Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for Paul Bruce, 9 day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Thompson. The child was born February 12 at the Mary Greeley hospital in Ames and passed away there on Thursday night, February 20. Rev. Murray Allen of the Congregational church in Ames officiated at the service and burial was in the Story City cemetery.

Paul Bruce is survived by hi parent and a brother, David, who was a year old last October. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Thompson of Story City and Mrs. Mary Baes of Ames.

The mother of the child is the former Barbara Bates.
