FRANK McCOLLOM ANSWERS FINAL SUMMONS WEDNESDAY MORNING--FUNERAL FRIDAY AT 2:30

Mr. Frank McCollom died at his home in this city a few minutes past midnight, Tuesday, March 31, 1920. He was born in Antrim County, Ireland, December 9th, 1851, and came with his parents to the United States in 1853. The first abiding place in this country was at Fort Kennedy, Pa., where they remained some nine years. The next location of the family was in Lee county, Illinois, where Mr. McCollom grew to young manhood. His marriage with Miss Ida Kent took place March 5, 1879. Four children were born to them, all of whom survive the passing of their father. They are Wallace of Colo, Robert of Des Moines, Forest of Maxwell and Hattie of Colo. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Robt. Anderson and Mrs. Eliza Weed, both of Dixon, Ill., two granddaughters, one grandson and other relatives. The family came to Story county in February, 1882, and located on a farm near Colo, where they resided until the fall of 1911, when they made their home in Nevada. Mr. McCollom was one of our substantial and worthy citizens and his death will be much regretted by the community in which he lived, as well as deeply mourned by the members of his family and near relatives. The funeral services will be held at the house Friday at 2:30 p. m., and conducted by Rev. R. M. Shipman. The burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
