AGED STORY CITY WOMAN IS DEAD

MRS. RASMUS OLESON PASSED AWAY AT OLD PEOPLES HOME

Story City, May 18--Mrs. Rasmus Oleson, 76, longtime resident of this community, died early Sunday at the Story City Old Peoples Home from troubles which she had been a sufferer for some time.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at St. Petri church, with her pastor, Rev. Scarvie in charge, and interment will be in Story City cemetery by the side of the husband who died in February, 1926.

Mrs. Oleson was born in Norway, Europe, August 15, 1854, her maiden name being Carrie Molde; daughter of Lambert and Ingeborg Molde.

She was married to Rasmus Oleson in 1878 and came to America and settled on a farm southeast of Story City in 1886, where they lived until about 13 years ago when they retired and moved into Story City, where the husband died in 1926.

She leaves one son, Lewis Oleson, whose home is in Story City, as well as a wide circle of old neighbors and friends.
