FRANK TILTON DEAD; FUNERAL MONDAY

FORMER COLLINS MAN PASSED AWAY IN HOSPITAL AT IOWA CITY

Collins, May 16--Frank L. Tilton, 58, died at the state hospital at Iowa City late Friday, the body will be brought to Collins, where the funeral services will be held probably on Monday. Tilton had been ill for the past month of more and had been in the hospital for about two weeks.

Frank L. Tilton, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Tilton was born at Windsor, Mo., January 29, 1873. He was six years of age when the family moved to Iowa. Later they moved back to Illinois for a time, after which they returned to Iowa, locating in Collins about twenty years ago. Here he made his home with his parents and was employed for some time by C. C. Chambers. Again he left Collins for a time but returned in 1926 and was employed in the T. J. Wetrick store for about two years after which he went to Waterloo, where he spent some time.

He is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. A. F. Tilton, and two brothers, Claude Tilton of Marshalltown and Glen Tilton of Collins.
