MRS. MORRIS DIES 3 WEEKS AFTER HUSBAND.
Mrs. Ella M. Morris, 78, of 703 Burnett, died about 3 p.m. Monday in Mary Greeley hospital, a few minutes after she had suffered a heart attack while attending the grave of her husband in the Ames Municipal cemetery. The husband, Frank Morris, died just three weeks ago, March 21.
A life-long resident of Story county where she was born Mary 24, 1870, the daughter of Robert and Lydia Dodds, pioneer residents of the county, she was married Dec. 5, 1894 in Ames. She was a member of the First Methodist church.
Survivors include three sons, Glen R. (Newt) Morris. Clare (Pete) Morris and Ralph D. (Mike) Morris, all of Ames; four brothers, Bert Dodds of Clinton, Minn., George of Santa Monica, Calif., Ross of Gilbert and Harry of Ames and a sister, Mrs. Robert Clark of Gilbert.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m in the Adams chapel by Rev. Robert Pinnell, pastor of the First Methodist church, and Rev. LeRoy Burroughs, of St. John's Episcopal church. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
