PIONEER WOMAN DIED AT MAXWELL
MRS. JAMES WOODWARD PASSED AWAY THURSDAY NIGHT
Special to the Journal.
Maxwell, Sept. 15--Mrs. James Woodward of Maxwell died at her home south of that place Thursday night and the funeral service is to be held Sunday afternoon.The deceased who leaves her husband and one daughter Miss Grace, who lives at home, was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Giles Randlet, pioneer of the Maxwell neighborhood.
Born January 14, 1867, she had lived in the community in which she died, her entire life time.
She is survived by her husband, James Woodward and daughter Grace Woodward, sister Mrs. Byron Smith of Maxwell, two brothers, Fred Ranlett of Nebraska and George Ranlett of Summersville, Mo.
