Early Day Nevada Woman Passed Away in Oklahoma

Mrs. A. L. Farrington, 70, died at her home in Ellis county, Oklahoma, June 17, according to word received by relatives in Nevada.

Mrs. Farrnington, whose maiden name was Fannie Belle Shugart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Zac Shugart, for many years residents of Nevada, was born at Neponset, Illinois, April 7, 1865.

She was married to A. L. Farrington at Nevada on July 4, 1886. They resided in Story county until 1901 when they moved to Ottawa, Kansas and four years later to Oklahoma.

Six children were born to this union and she is survived by her husband, one son and three daughters, besides seventeen grandchildren.

The funeral and burial was at Harmon, Oklahoma.

The deceased was a cousin of P. E. Shugart of Nevada and the surviving husband a brother of W. N. Farrington of this place.
