MRS. McDANIELS DIED SUNDAY

FUNERAL AT CENTRAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH TUESDAY AFTERNOON

Mrs. Mona McDaniels, 43, of 522 Sixth street, died at Iowa sanitarium Sunday morning, following a surgical operation a few days previous. Death was due to kidney and gall bladder trouble and other complications.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at Central Presbyterian church, after which she will be laid to rest in Nevada cemetery by the side of her husband, Walter S. McDaniels, who died November 1, 1932.

Born at Ames Dec. 28, 1892 she lived there as a young girl but came to Nevada when the father, the late Frank N. Fowler, was elected county treasurer.

Here she attended the public school, graduated and grew to womanhood, to be married September 23, 1914, to Walter S. McDaniels.

Three children were born to them and they are left to mourn the early passing of the parents. The children are Marjorie, Robert and Jeanette.

Besides her children she leaves two brothers, Donald of Syracuse, N. Y., and Albert of Lake View, Florida, her stepmother, Mrs. Hattie D. Fowler of Nevada and half-sister, Miss Dorothy Fowler of St. Louis.

She was a member of Central Presbyterian church and was also affiliated with the Order of the Eastern Star and the Pythian Sisters, as well as various other clubs.

Mrs. McDaniels was a woman of very fine characteristics and had many warm friends in the city who admired her and will deeply mourn her death.
