Funeral of Accident Victim Held Today

Kelley, March 22--Funeral services for Stanley Ford, 25, who was killed in an auto accident early Wednesday morning, in Des Moines, was held at the Lutheran church today at 2 p. m. with the Rev. E. R. Rorem in charge with burial in the Lutheran cemetery near.

Mr. Ford was returning to Kelley with Mr. and Mrs. Randall Holland and Miss Fey Reinertson also of Kelley, when their car crashed into a truck on East Fourteenth street about 4:30 a. m. Al were taken to the hospital where Ford died about 7 a. m. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hollard are still in a serious condition. Miss Reinerton escape with only minor injuries.

Stanley was the son of Mrs. Minnie Ford of this palce and is survived by two sisters Mae at home and Mrs. Floyd Barr of Ames and Milford at home. His father preceded him in death in 1923 and a brother Fred in 1920.

Until last October he was with the CCC group stationed at Winterset and later at Ft. Des Moines in Des Moines. He was a graduate of the Kelley high school in 1928 and was captain of the basketball team while a student.
