THE DES MOINES REGISTER, March 5, 1992, page 7. Obituary: "W. Tiffin Tomlinson, 81, of 201 S.E. Third St., Ankeny, died of a heart attack Monday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Elkhart Christian Church, of which he as a member. Burial will be in Cory Grove Cemetery at Elkhart. Mr. Tomlinson was born in Bondurant and lived there and in Ankeny all his life. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are a son, Gerald of Ankeny; two daughters, Phyllis Seuferer of Marshalltown and Nadine Zimmer of Elkhart; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church."
