Mrs. Theodora Storaker Kahrs was born in Norway, April 13, 1873. Her parents were Johann Theodore and Elizabeth Maria Storaker. Mrs. Kahrs came to the United States in 1892 with her mother, coming to the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Rev. and Mrs. G. Smedal, in Winnebago County, Iowa. In 1894 they accompanied the Smedals to Roland.

She had died in her sleep during the night from a heart attack.
