Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Edna Wilkinson
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Edna Wilkinson were held at the Collins Methodist Church Feb. 24 at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Robert Robinson officiating.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Curtis Marsh of Kellogg, soloist, who sang "A Stranger In Galilee" and "Face to Face" accompanied by Mrs. C. R. Stone at the piano.
Mrs. Henry Dodd and Mrs. O. N. Serbein were in charge of the program.
Pall bearers were Duane Magg of Bondurant, Orville Smith, Glen Pointer, Henry Dodd, George Keagle and William Stoneberg.
Interment was in the Collins Evergreen cemetery by the side of her husband.
Obituary
Edna Rebecca Wilkinson daughter of Thompson and Mary Swart, was born in Boone County July 7, 1871 and passed away at the Story County Hospital at 12:10 Feb. 22 at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 15 days.
She was united in marriage to Wilbur Wilkinson he passed away Jan. 29, 1939. She was a member of the Peoria Methodist church.
Also preceded her in death were her parents, three brothers, Miles, Grant and Arthur, four sisters, Hattie, Jane, Ann and Maude.
Surviving are one brother, John Swart of Collins and a foster brother, Wayne Sargent of Maxwell.
