THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, January 12, 1922, page 1, column 1. "Mrs. M. R. Dunahoo, who recently returned from a visit to her brother, Lloyd Selby, and family, at Irwin, Iowa, having been called there by his illness, received word that he had passed away Friday morning, January, 6th; funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon. Mr. Selby will be remembered by a large number of the people of this community, having been born and reared on the farm near Iowa Center."
