Ella F. Robinson
Ella F. Fagen, daughter of Monroe E. and Margaret S. (Bennett) Fagen was born October 26, 1887.
She attended rural schools near Perry and completed a teaching certificate from Cedar Falls Normal College then returned to teach in two of the schools where she had attended.
December 10, 1906 she was unite in marriage to Clyde E. Robinson of Yale and to this union five children were born.
For 60 year she lived on the family farm near Yale -- 56 years together before Clyde's passing in 1964.
She was a member of the Prairie Center United Methodist Church where she was active in the Church School and Women's work as long as health would permit. For several years she served as secretary for the Dallas Township School Board.
She also belonged to the West Side Club, and the Three Quarter Century Club and the Iowa Historical Society, with a genuine interest in local history and family genealogy.
She passed from this life September 10, 1973 at Perry Manor where she had been a resident for the last five years. During her life she saw the passing of her parents, her husband, three sisters, four brothers, four infant grandchildren and one infant great grandchild.
Remembering Ella at the time of the service were her five children: Royal V. of Rockford, Illinois, Eldon F. of Littleton, Colorado, Galen C. of Marion, Hope Clydelle of Collins, and Carroll E. of Rockford, Iowa; two brothers, Lee Fagen of Adel and Victor Fagen of Perry; eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
