THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, April 14, 1949, page 1, column 1. "LOVINA ROBERTSON - Lovina Robertson was born February 28, 1867, in Illinois. She passed away March 28 at the age of 82 years. She was married to Morris C. Robertson who preceeded** her in death in 1909. The family settled near St. Anthony and moved to Maxwell in 1907. There were 5 children; Della M. Scott of Des Moines; Guy who passed away in 1931, Ray, Earl and Glen of Maxwell. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Rose Batson of Zearing. Mrs. Robertson had been a member of the Christian church since 1909. Funeral services were held in the Maxwell Church of Christ on Thursday afternoon, March 31 at 2 o'clock with Reverends Loran Lair and Elmer Baker in charge. The beautiful floral sprays were arranged by Coral and Carol Robertson and Janice Lair. Mrs. Alice Gooden sang two solos, "In the Upper Garden" and "Good Night and Good Morning" accompanied by Mrs. Laura Pearson. The pallbearers were her six grandsons, Forest Robertson, Verle Robertson, Marvin Robertson, Raymond Robertson, Lowell Robertson and Morris Robertson. Burial was in the family lot in the Clemons cemetery. Those attending the funeral from Des Moines other than the family were Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Brown and Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Bierman." "CARD OF THANKS.
