She came with her parents to Iowa in the fall of 1855, landing in Peoria City and has resided at or near that place ever since, except five years that she lived in Nebraska. W., of Des Moines, and Mrs. Mary Patterson, of Maxwell. Deceased was converted and united with the M. P. church at Peoria in early life, in which church she lived a consistent christian life until the day of her death. Mrs. Randol leaves to mourn her loss, besides her husband and children, three sisters and two brothers: Jane L. Swarm, of Peoria; Penelope Ozmun, of Collins; Mary Gibson, of Farrar; M. L. Hutson, of Peoria, and Oliver Hutson, of Rockwell City. Three sisters: Mrs. C. W. Norton, Mrs. Nancy Sockrider and Mrs. E. A. Dunlap, preceded her to the spirit world. Mrs. Randol was visiting in Collins when her last sickness came and only lived a few days after the attack. All her children were at her beside when she passed away except James D. and Charles D., who arrived from North Dakota a few hours after she had passed away. She was a kind wife and mother; a good neighbor and greatly loved by all who knew her. The funeral was held Sunday at eleven a. m. at the Peoria City church, being in charge of Rev. A. Q. Gharrett. The interment was made in the Peoria cemetery."
