THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, July 31, 1941, page 1, column 5. "MUSSER BABE PASSES AWAY. - Donna Jean Musser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Muusser**, was born in Maxwell April 16, 1941, and passed away Wednesday night, July 23, at the Iowa Sanitarium. Dona Jean was born prematurely and was in an incubator at the Iowa Sanitarium for several weeks, then was taken home where she suddenly grew worse and was taken back to the Sanitarium last week. Brief services and interments was made in the Maxwell cemetery on Thursday afternoon at 1:30." **Editorial note - the name was spelled both Musser and Muusser in the original newspaper article.
