THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday January 10, 1901, page 7. "It is with regret we chronicle the death of Uncle Robert Mulles, who was called form this life, Friday, Jan. 4th. Uncle Robert was one of the early settlers, well know by many and esteemed and honored by all with whom he formed acquaintance. The funeral services were held Sunday from the Holy Cross church, of which he was a faithful member. A large concourse of friends joined in the last sad rites and mingled their sympathetic tears with those of the bereaved relatives. We extend our sympathy to the family in this, their hour of sorrow."
