MRS. JONAS JORSTAD
COLO--Funeral services for Mrs. Jonas Jorstad, 82, were held from the Adams Funeral Home in Dexter, Minn. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, with the Rev. Truman Mohn officiating. Interment was in the Dexter Community cemetery.
Life Sketch
O Della Danielson was born Feb. 21, 1876 and spent her childhood on a farm near Seneca, Ill. At the age of 14 she was confirmed in the Fox River Lutheran church where she as later joined in marriage with Jonas Jorstad on Sept. 11, 1901.
To this union eight children were born of whom seven survive. One son, Freddie, died in 1910 at the age of four years.
Mrs. Jorstad had been in failing health for the past few years. She died at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin, Minn. on Oct. 4, 1958 at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 13 days.
Mrs. Jorstad was active in choir work in her early years. She was a life member of the Martha Society of the Marshall Lutheran church of Adams, Minn.
She is survived by her husband and their seven children two sons, Otis M. and Lester; five daughters, Mrs. W. T. (Ethel) Edgren, Mrs. Everett (Olive) Holliday, Mrs. M. L. (Vida) Rankin, Mrs. Edwin (Viola) Austin, Mrs. Virgil (Hila) Roush; 13 grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Austin, Dumont, Mrs. Virgil Roush, Dick and Phyllis, Austin, Minn. and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Jorstad, Harsfield, Minn. as well as a host of freinds from Austin, Adams and Taopi, Minn. communities.
