THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, November 15, 1923, page 1, column 2. "MRS. WM. HALL DEAD - Mrs. H. J. Garlock received a telegram Tuesday from her cousin, Lloyd Hall, at Burns, Wyo., announcing the death of his mother, Mrs. Wm. Hall, which occurred that morning; also stating the body would arrive in Maxwell Friday noon. The Wm. Hall family left her some 20 years ago, going to Cambridge, later going to Wyo., where they have since resided."

THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, November 22, 1923, page 1, column 6. "OBITUARY - The body of Mrs. W. Hall, who passed away at her home in Burns, Wyoming, November 20th, arrived in Maxwell last Friday, accompanied by Mr. Hall and son, Lloyd, and following a short service at the N. P. Hall home, conducted by Rev. H. D. Robinson, was buried in the Maxwell cemetery. Angeline Marshall, daughter of A. J. and Mary J. Marshall, was born at New Lisbon, Ohio, November 23, 1850 and departed this life 13 November 1923, at Burns, Wyoming, being within ten days of her seventy-third birthday. She accompanied her parents to Iowa in 1858 and was united in marriage to Wm. C. Hall, February 9, 1869, and to this union four children were born, two dying in infancy. She was converted while a young girl and united with the Evangelical church. For the past 15 years the family has lived in Burns, Wyoming. Besides the husband, there remain to mourn her departure one daughter, Mrs. Olive Maloney, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and one son, Lloyd, of Burns, Wyoming; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Johnson, of Denver, Colorado, and Mrs. Thos. Hall of Bagley, Iowa; one brother, John Marshall, of Pasadena, California; also five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and other relatives."
