THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, April 14, 1921, page 1, column 5. "MRS. J. M. HALL. - Mrs. J. M. Hall died at her home in Collins last Friday at the age of sixty-eight years. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Collins Sunday and interment was made in the Peoria cemetery. Mrs. Hall had been quite ill for some time, but was improving and thought to be recovering when she suddenly succumbed to an attack of heart trouble. Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, two sons, Charles H., of Nevada, and Milo, of Collins; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Denniston and Mrs. Mattie Biddick, of Collins, and Mrs. Grace Smith, of Toledo; also a number of grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Hall at one time resided in Maxwell."
