DEATHS

MILFORD THOMPSON

Funeral services for Milford Thompson of Huxley were held on Monday, July 8 at 2 p.m. a the Bethany Lutheran Church at Kelley with Pastor Gordon Kruse officiating.

Mrs. Lowell Accola, organist, accompanied Arlin Severson when he sang "Beautiful Saviour." The congregation sang "A Mighty Fortress" and "Lead On, King Eternal."

Pallbearers were David Mason, Ronald Mason, Sherman Mason, James Thompson, Gerald Thompson, Richard Thompson.

Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery at Kelley.

Milford Thompson was born May 19, 1907 at Huxley. His parents were Randall and Celia Thompson. He was a lifelong resident of Story County and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church at Kelley.

Mr. Thompson had been in poor health for several months and he died at Mary Greeley Hospital at Ames on Friday July 5 at the age of 61 years.

He is survived by his wife, Beulah; one son, Donald of Huxley; four daughters Mrs. Maxine Gibbs, Mrs. Helen Overland, Mrs. Sharon Wells of Ames, Mrs. Shirley Armann, Germany; two brothers, Henry of Cylinder and Randall, Jr. of Huxley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Dorothy Maxine.
