Mr. C. Askland passed away suddenly, Thursday, June 20, being the victim of heart trouble. Funeral services were held at Bethlehem church Sunday afternoon by Rev. Bjorli assisted by Rev. Buland of Cambridge. He leaves to mourn his loss, four children, T. Askland of Dakota, Mrs. O. J. Viland of Longmont, Colorado; Mrs. C. Ersland and Mrs. Melinda Severtson of Slater. Interment was made in the Slater cemetery.
