Mrs. Peder Buland Of Cambridge Died Early Today

Cambridge, June 22 -- Mrs. Peder Buland, age 79, died at her home in Cambridge, this morning at 6 a. m.

Mrs. Bulan was born in Norway, May 12, 1867 and has lived in various sections of Story county for the past sixty years.

She is the wife of Rev. Peder Buland, former Superintendent of the Old People's Home at Story City and both he and Mrs. Buland have been quite prominent in Story county church work for the past sixty years.

Mrs. Buland is survived by her husband, Rev. Buland, one son, O. A. Buland and one daughter, Mrs. Chas. Hennick, both of Cambridge. Also five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother, Rienert Ringe, two sisters, Mrs. Inger Osterhuf and Mrs. Tomina Tuttle.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26 at 1:30 a the home in Cambridge and at 2:00 in the Palestine cemetery just south of Huxley. The body will lie in state at the Henderson Funeral Home in Story City Monday afternoon and evening.
