THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, January 24, 1963, page 1, column 4. "ELIZABETH ENFIELD. - Lizzie Enfield was born October 4, 1872, on a farm southwest of Ames, the daughter of Conrad Z. and Elizabeth Keller Reitz. She passed away peacefully January 19, 1963, at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 15 days. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Brethren. She was united in marriage on September 24, 1893 to William C. Enfield. To this union was born 3 sons, Richard, Morris and Galen. They made their home in the Maxwell community for many years, until they moved to Cambridge about 1950. For the past 5 years she had made her home with her son, Galen. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1953 and one son, Richard in 1958. She is survived by two sons, Morris of San Benito, Texas, and Galen of Liscomb; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Cooper Funeral Home, Monday, January 21, at 2 p. m., with Rev. J. E. McClellan in charge. Mrs. Madeline Summitt furnished the organ music. The beautiful floral tributes were in charge of Mrs. Marjorie Scott and Mrs. Marjorie Johnson…."
