NEVADA EVENING JOURNAL, Nevada, Iowa, Monday, December 23, 1946, page 1, "Mrs. A. Enfield, Maxwell Resident, Dies at Age 85 - Maxwell, Dec. 23 - Mrs. A. C. Enfield, 85 passed away at 11:55 p.m. Saturday following a four month's illness. She has been a resident of Maxwell for more than 60 years. Funeral services will be held at the Maxwell Church of Christ at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Hugh C. Guy, pastor of the Nevada Church of Christ, officiating, Interment will be in the Maxwell cemetery. Surviving the deceased are one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Robertson of Maxwell; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren."
