Former McCallsburg Boy Meets Death

Word reached here Friday morning that Ray Hendrickson, a former resident of the burg, was instantly killed by a train at Cedar Rapids early that morning. He was riding a speeder and did not hear the Express whistle a warning. His body was thrown about fifty feet and he was dead when picked up.

Ray was raised in this community and his death comes as a blow to his many friends here. He was about thirty years old and was married.
