DEATHS

ELSIE M. WILSON SIBLEY

Elsie Marie Wilson Sibley, 89 of Nevada, died Sunday, March 6, 1983, at the Story County Hospital. She had been a resident of the hospital's long term care unit for the past four years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9 at the Nevada Assembly of God Church with Rev. T. Dale Brumback officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens, rural Nevada.

Elsie Marie Wilson Sibley was born Oct. 7, 1893 to Carl and Lena (Wunder) Raether in Unity, Wisc. She attended school in the Unity area.

She married Ralph Wilson on Aug. 12, 1918 in Albia. Wilson preceded her in death. She remarried to Everett Sibley, who also preceded her in death.

She moved to Nevada in 1935 and was employed by Nevada Poultry and Hunter's restaurant for several years before retiring in 1956. She was also a member of the Nevada Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include one son, Charles N. Wilson and two daughters, Geneva M. Hodges and Dorothy M. Casperson, all of Nevada, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, an infant child and two brothers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada.
