Held Funeral Services at Huxley for Mrs. Inger Loe

Huxley, April 22--Funeral services for Mrs. Inger Loe were held at the Lincoln church in Huxley at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The services were in charge of Rev. Jacobson, assisted by Rev. Buland who had been her pastor for many years. Pall bearers were F. P. Kalsem, S. K. Tweedt, Gunder Rullestad, Levi Herness, L. O. Ritalnd and Hans Larson. Mrs. Roy Elliott and Mrs. C. R. Reng dang a duet "Tired," with piano accompaniment by Juenetta Larson. Rev. Jacobson chose for his text verses 30 and 31 in the 16th chapter of Acts. After the sermon W. B. Christopher sang a solo "When I Walk the Last Mile of the Way." Rev Buland based his text on the 16th and 17th verses in the 5th chapter of Ephesians. A mixed quartette composed of Mrs. I. J. Hendricks, Mrs. C. R. Reng, Bert Tesdall and W. B. Christopher, with Mrs. H. Jacobson at the piano, sang "We Are Going Down the Valley." The remains were interred in the Palestine cemetery.

The following obituary was read:

Inger H. Roalkvam, daughter of Halvor and Inger Roalkvam was born June 23, 1855 in Vigedal, Stavanger, Norway and passed away at the Mary Greeley hospital in Ames, April 15, 1939 at 6:20 p.m. at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 22 days. On Dec. 26, 1875 she was married to Martin N. Loe. To this union three children were born namely Sevrin of Forest City, Mrs. Inger Larson of Huxley and the late Mrs. Marie Torsdahl.

In 1885 she and her family came to Huxley where she remained until the time of her death. Mr. Loe preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1920. Ten years ago Mrs. Loe suffered a paralytic stroke and has been an invalid since that time. Even though she suffered a great deal, she was always cheerful and patient. The following survive her death: One son Sevrin Loe of Forest City, one daughter, Mrs. Inger Larson of Huxley, four grandchildren Mrs. Sherma Kenniston of Miami, Fla., Orville and Clifton Loe of Forest Cty and Arthur Torsdahl of Chicago, Ill., also two great grandchildren, one brother Ole Roalkvam of Sawyer, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Rachel Ims of Echo, Minn., and a host of other relatives and friends.
