FUNERAL OF MRS. IHLE
Was Held at Bethlehem Church Tuesday.

Slater, Feb. 24--Funeral services for Mrs. Aamond Ihle were held at the Bethlehem Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. E. R. Rorem had charge of the services assisted by Rev. P. Bueland of Cambridge. Both spoke in the Norwegian language. The songs "Klippe Du Som Brast For Mig" and "Den Store Hvide Flok Vi Se," were sung by Mrs. A. L. Peterson. The pall bearers were the five sons and a son-in-law, Nels Ihle, Erick Ihle, John Ihle, Nels O. Ihle, Ed. Ihle of Rodman and Ole Thorsness. Besides her aged husband and five sons she is survived by two daughters Mrs. Ole Thorsness and Mrs. Severt Hauge of Estherville. Mrs. Martha Ihle was born in Helgeland, Norway, February 5, 1844. Her parents were Johann and Jorgene Helgeland. She was married to Aamond Ihle in 1866, Eight children were born to this union, one son having died a number of years ago. They came to America in 1893. She was a semi-invalid for over 20 years. They lived on their farm north of town until about a year ago, when they gave up their home to live with their children. She died February 17 at the home of her son Nels and was 84 years old at the time of her death.
