Zearing, Dec. 28--The body of Carl Greenberg, 88, Zearing man who died at the home of his grandson Clifford Greenberg at Eldora Sunday, was brought to Zearing today and funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, at the Evangelical church, after which interment will be in the Zearing cemetery by the side of his wife who died in 1927. The service will be in charge of Rev. R. E. Kearney.

Mr. Greenberg was born at Stetin, Germany, and came to America with his wife when thirty years old. They located first at Arlington Heights, near Chicago, but later came out to Iowa and were at State Center for seven year before locating in Zearing nearly fifty year ago.

Mr. Greenberg operated a blacksmith shop for some years, after which he engaged in the shoe repair business and continued that for many years. Their daughters grew to womanhood but are now all deceased and he is survived by five grandchildren.

He had been with the grandson Clifford at Eldora only since last fall, when his health began to fail him.
