Hold Final Services For Mrs. A. Westberg
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Andrew Westberg in the Gilbert Lutheran church, Monday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. Burial was in the South St. Petri cemetery. Rev. A. O. Skibsrud officiated.
Mrs. Westberg died Thursday noon in Mary Greeley hospital from a stroke following pneumonia.
Mrs. Westberg, born in Norway, March 15, 1876*, came to Iowa when she was 21 years old and settled in Hardin county near Radcliffe. In May, 1892, she was married at Jewell Junction to Andrew Westberg who survives. They later moved to farms in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota until fifteen years ago when they established their home on a farm in Boone county near Gilbert and they have made their home since.
Surviving are two sons, Alfred and Carl of Boone, four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Erickson of Madrid, Mrs. Sadie Munson of Ames, Mrs. Pauline Lee of Boone and Mrs. Agnes Zielske of Ledyard, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. Anne Robinson of Eagle Grove. Other survivors include 19 grand children and 10 great-grandchildren.
