Obituary.

Mrs. C. W. Mead was born in Whiteside county, Illinois, August 29, 1856. She died at her home near Zearing, Story county, Iowa. Funeral services were conduced by Rev. A. L. Golden at Zearing, Feburary 19. A large concourse of friends followed the remains to their last resting place, which is in the Zearing cemetery. She leaves a husband and seven children.
