Services In Colo On March 23 For Mary Fitzgerald

Mary Ellen Fitzgerald, age 71,, daughter of Charles Wilbur and Mary Ann Mead, passed away at her home at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, March 21.

She was born May 29, 1891 in Zearing. She attended school in Collins and on February 10, 1920 she was united in marriage to W. A. Fitzgerald. The Fitzgeralds spent all their married life in or around the Collins area with the exception of one year in which they lived in Zearing and one year in Nevada. She was a member of the St. Mary Church of Colo.

Surviving are her husband, W. A. Fitzgerald and one sister: Mrs. H. E. Southern; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.

Services

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 23 at 10 a.m. in the St. Mary Church in Colo with Rev. E. E. McAvoy officiating. Music was furnished by the St. Mary Church choir.

Pallbearers were Mondel Rice, Harold Carer, George Koehler, Elmer Fitzgerald, P. H. Fitzgerald and Frances Fitzgerald. Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Helen Branchs and Mrs. Nina Smith.

Burial was in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Colo with Brouhard Funeral Home, Zearing in charge.
