HOLTBY FUNERAL HELD

Special to the Journal.
Maxwell, Dec. 31--Funeral services for Fred Holtby, 63, were held at his country home southeast of Maxwell Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. -. J. Nutt of Des Moines and burial was made in the Peoria cemetery. Mr. Holtby's death was due to diabetes and --------. After having been very ill for several days at his home, he was taken to Iowa sanitarium in Nevada Sunday morning and died the ------ evening at 11 o'clock. He leaves, besides his wife, one son Orlando, two daughters Anna and Hazel and one grand daughter Mary Helen.
