Mrs. Louis Grimm Died Suddenly at Home Near Zearing

Special to the Journal.
Zearing, May 2--Mrs. A. L. Grimm, 59, well known farm woman of the community, died very suddenly at her home northeast of Zearing early today, from a heart attack.

While the condition of Mrs. Grimm's health had been poor for some time, the news of her sudden passing has been a distinct shock to the entire community where she was loved and respected.

Mr. and Mrs. Grimm were awake at 1:30 this morning and talked and there was no indication of anything unusual in the condition of the wife. The husband awoke again at 3:00 a. m. and found the wife cold in death.

No arrangements have been made for the funeral awaiting word from various relatives.

Mrs. Grimm, whose maiden name was Elsie Schultz*, was born at Ridott, Ill., December 3, 1876. She had been a resident of Story county for 33 years. In her immediate family she leaves only her husband and her son, Donald H. Grimm no postmaster of Zearing.

She also leaves her sister, Nellie Schultz*, who had long made her home with the Grimms, Nettie Samis of Des Moines and Mrs. Sylvia Schryver of Zearing; and brothers Samuel Shultz* of Cooline, North Carolina and Mannie Schultz of Mitchell, S. D.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Elsie Viola Shultz married August L. "Louie" Grimm on 17 February 1904 in Hardin County, Iowa. Her maiden name was Shultz, not Schultz as stated.
