FORMER COLLINS RESIDENT DEAD

PIERCE SINNOTT DIED AT MERCY HOSPITAL, DES MOINES SATURDAY NIGHT

Pierce Sinnott of Osceola, Iowa, died at Mercy hospital Saturday night. Funeral services will be held from St. Ambrose's cathedral Des Moines, at nine o'clock Tuesday morning. Following the services interment will be in Nevada cemetery.

Pierce Sinnott, former Story county man and member of one of the pioneer families of the Collins neighborhood, died at Mercy hospital Des Moines, the latter part of the week.

Mr. Sinnott was well known in the southern part of the county, where he had lived for years.

Mr. Sinnott was born in Wexford, Ireland and came to America when a young man. For many years he was a resident of Collins. While living there he was united in marriage to Miss Rose Kielly of Colo. Later they moved to Osceola, at which place they have resided until the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Sinnott, three sisters, Mrs. J. E. McLaughlin, Armour, S. D.; Mrs. S. W. Poorbaugh, Cleveland, Ohio; and Miss Hannah Sinnott, Wexford, Ireland.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Sylvester Sinnott, Wexford, Ireland and two sisters: Mrs. John Murphy, Wexford, Ireland; Mrs. Robert Murphy of Colo, Iowa.
