Francis Finch, for a number of years a resident of Story county died April 20, at Phoenix, Arizona, to which place he with his family went last October, in hope that the change of climate would benefit his health. He was about 25 years of age, and leaves a wife and one son.

The funeral and burial occurred at Ames on Friday, service being conducted by Rev. A. M. Shea.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Francis Truman Finch was the son of Francis Mortimer Finch and Mary Watt. He married Susanna Cunningham on 11 October 1899 in Ames, Story County, Iowa. They had one son, Donald Freeman Finch born 5 August 1900 in Washington Township, Story County, Iowa.
