Kara Lynn Johnson
January 26, 1958 – February 2, 2019

Kara Lynn (Kay) Johnson, 61, from Ames, IA, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Mary Greeley Hospice House in Ames. Kay was born in Mexico, MO on January 26, 1958 to the late Russell Pulis and Delores Pulis.

Kay is survived by a son, Eric Williams (Emily) of Columbia, MO, a daughter, Lindsay (Dylan) Williams of Ames, IA, three grandchildren Ada Williams and Mae Williams of Columbia, MO, and Isobel Williams of Ames, IA, a sister, Rusann (Mike) McKeown of Moberly, MO; two nieces Rachel (Gary) Seidel, of Moberly, MO, and Leanna (Josh) Taylor, of Moberly, MO, a nephew Michael (Andrea) McKeown of Moberly, MO and other relatives and friends.

Kay liked to cook for her family, decorate her home, was a dedicated employee.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Bank of Cairo & Moberly, 204 E. Rollins St., Moberly, MO 65270.

At her request, Kay was cremated. She wanted a family, grave-side service, also; it will be held in Moberly at a later date under the direction of Cater Funeral Home, Moberly, MO.
