Howard Township Pioneer Called by Death Friday

Mrs. P. P. Sheffield, 74, one of the real pioneer citizens of the southwest Howard township neighborhood, died at her home near the Sheffield school house on Friday night, after a lingering illness. The funeral services will be held at Story City Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Mrs. Sheffield who leaves her aged husband and several children was the oldest daughter of T. A. Squires one of the early settlers of the Story City neighborhood.
