Laustsen Funeral Thursday Afternoon

Funeral services for Christ Laustsen, 41, World War veteran, whose tragic death occurred Monday night, took place Thursday afternoon at the Bishop Funeral home, the sermon being preached by Rev. L. E. Watson, chaplain of Nevada Post American Legion, which was in charge of the burial.

There was a large group of friends and ex service men gathered for the service which was appropriate and impressive. The large number present indicated the high place the lone young man had been held in the esteem of the people of the community, with whom he was acquainted.

Among those from a distance in attendance at the funeral services were his aunt, Mrs. P. Petrson, her husband and son of Harlan, his cousins, S. B. and James Anderson of Emmetsburg, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Jensen of Des Moines and Mr. and Mrs. Omar Farren of Colo.
