Death Friday of Nels P. Lauesen At Story City

Story City, Dec. 10--Funeral services were held this afternoon for Nels P. Laueson, 72, who passed away Friday evening at 5 o'clock at his home southwest of Story City. Death was due to a stroke which he suffered a week ago.

A prayer service at the home at 1:30 this afternoon was followed by services at the Grace Evangelical church with the Rev. C. L. Fuller of Zearing officiating. Burial was in the Story City cemetery.

The deceased was born in Denmark, coming to this country with his parents and sisters in 1882 at the age of nine years. He had lived in this community. He was never married.

He is survived by his sister, Mrs. John Larson of Story City and by a host of friends.
