Bertle O. Grine Died Last Night In Story City

Story City, April 26--Bertle O. Grindle, 82, passed away Wednesday afternoon at 5:15 at his home in Story City.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and 2 o'clock at the Bethel Lutheran church in Story City with the Rev. A. J. Bringle in charge of the last rites. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

Surviving are the wife and the following children: Hannah and Sylvia Grinde who are employed in Ames, Mrs. Carroll Lura of McCallburg, Mrs. Hazel Krough of Story City, Martin Grinde of Ackley and Tom Grinde of Des Moines.

The deceased was employed for many years as a C. and N. W. section hand in Story City. He was born in Norway October 23, 1862, and had lived in Story City for 64 years.
