OBITUARY
Charley L. Larson was born April 30, 1874 and died at his home in Huxley, March 30 at the age of 79 years and 11 months. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Larson, pioneer residents of the Palestine community near Cambridge, where he received his early schooling and Christian education. He was confirmed by the late Rev. H. C. Holm of the Palestine Lutheran church on Nov. 11, 1888.
On Nov. 15, 1899, he was married to Anna Larson of Cambridge and to this union was born a daughter, Junetta.
Mr. Larson was for many years associated with the B. A. Lockwood Grain company at Slater and later went into the furniture and undertaking business and for several years was associated with the Duckworth Funeral Home in Ames.
The past five years he had been confined to his home by the infirmaties of advancing years. Although an invalid, he was not bed-fast until two weeks prior to his death.
Mr. Larson was the last and youngest member of a family of seven. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. In addition to his widow and daughter, Junetta, he is survived by many nieces and nephews.
