TOURIST FOUND DEAD IN HIS BED
FAIRFIELD MAN DIED WHILE PASSING THE NIGHT AT TOURIST CAMP
Special to the Journal.
Colo, July 3--J. W. Brown, 60, of Fairfield, Iowa, was found dead in his bed in a cabin at the Reed Tourist camp in Colo, this morning, where he was spending the night with his wife and granddaughter.The Brown party had driven in last evening and made arrangements for the night, spending the evening in apparent good health, visiting with other tourists and discussing plans for the Fourth of July holiday and week-end at Clear Lake where they were bound.
This morning Mrs. Brown awoke about 5:30 and found her husband cold in death. Examination by a physician indicated that the man had been dead probably three hours.
Relatives were notified at Fairfield, and they, with a mortician are expected this afternoon and the body will be returned there for funeral and interment.
