FORMER NEVADA WOMAN IS DEAD

MRS. J. C. BRIGGS DIED AT HER HOME AT BURLINGAME, CALIFORNIA

Mrs. Etta M. Briggs, aged 60 years, a resident of Nevada about 30 years ago died Jan. 9, 1930 at her home 14[98?] Castillo Ave., Burlingame, Calif., according to word received by Nevada relatives. She is survived by her husband John C. Briggs, and two sons, Revoe C. Briggs of Burlingame, a U. S. government civil engineer, and Samuel E. Briggs. Both sons are graduates of Stanford University.

Services were held at the home Friday, Jan. 10 and interment in the Altra Mesa cemetery near Palo Alto, Calif.

About 29 years ago the family moved to California from Nevada where Mr. and Mrs. Briggs were married and where their two sons was born.

After living at Orange, Calif., for several years they moved Pasadena and about three years ago the parents moved to Burlingame, where the two sons had been living for a number of years. Mrs. Briggs was an active member of PEO Sisterhood of Burlingame; the Burlingame Woman's Club, and the Western Woman's Club of San Francisco. She has left many loving friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
